Prior to refresh a cylinder pressure and leak-down test was performed and all cylinders were within factory specs. Also prior to the rebuild an oil pressure test was done and it too was on the high side of the factory specs, 40-60psi. Engine was clean on the inside when disassembled for the refresh indicating that it has been very well maintained throughout its life. Rebuilt Trans shifts crisp and firm between each gear. Fresh Paint was redone in the Metallic Black/Metallic Silver w/ Clearcoat. Interior was redone using original GM materials Frame and floors are solid and were factory undercoated. Both have been cleaned and re-undercoated In May of this year I entered this car in its first car show. It was driven, on its maiden voyage, over 400 miles round trip to Ocean City MD, one of the biggest car show events on the East Coast, Cruzin Ocean City, an annual event that includes over 3000 registered participants. While participating in this event this car was awarded one of only 10 TOP HONORS trophies. It performed flawlessly on the entire trip and has each time it has been driven since.
