1986 Volkswagon Vanagon Westfalia. Rare Automatic! 167K miles. Engine almost completely rebuilt over the years, Mechanic Owned for 12 Years. All service records kept. Van is in Great Condition, very clean, no body damage, interior is in great shape and very clean and cozy. Feels more like a home inside than a camper-van. Excellent little get away vacation mobile with all the comforts of home lets you get out and adventure! Runs Great. Everything in engine is perfect. Automatic Transmission. Pop top in excellent condition, (minor tear in screen, easy patch) can sleep two up top and two below. Upper sleeping cushions are original and look like they have never even been slept on. Brand new Upholstery and Curtains (original upholstery is under new upholstery if you want to go all original, this is shown in one of the pictures). Brand new faux hard-wood floor. Brand new pantry and countertop. New bug guard/bra. Comes with complete car cover, bug screen for rear door (so you can sleep outside and breathe in the fresh air) and privacy curtain. You won't find another Westy with an interior that looks this good. Two front seats are original fabric and very clean and damage free. Brand New Tires, everything recently checked out and tuned up on the engine. No kitchenette to make room for extra storage. Comes with propane grill perfect for any camping trip. Electric Inverter added with three outlets to power any gadgets or appliances you may want to bring, including a fridge. Extra space under driver seat for adding second battery if desired. We recommend keeping the system we have because fridge needs constant power to stay cool, portable stove is better than affixed one cause you can take it outside to cook, and why weigh down the camper with dirty water storage tanks for a sink when you can use the extra storage and just wash dishes outside or at a campground. After-all, these campers are meant for getting out there and adventuring, not parking in a crowded RV lot! Excellent condition, you won't find another Westy like this one. Clear title not bank owned. This baby is ready to go! Camper just taken to mechanic and checked out great, recent tune up and no major problems what so ever. Slow power steering fluid leak (need to refill once or twice a year), some minor dents, scuffs, and blemishes but no big eye sores. Recently passed emissions with no problem. Radio is currently disconnected but looks like it can easily be hooked back up. Oil pressure gauge and engine cooling fan added to enhance van's performance and prevent overheated engine (usually a problem with Westfalias, but thanks to these additions it is not a problem for this one!) Overall great running and interior condition, one of the nicest Westfalias out there. This Van is ready to go another 100k miles! ***The Auto Check score does not reflect the quality of this vehicle.
