1987 Chevy 1 Ton Carpenter's Truck With Reading Walk-In Tool Bed click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge I have owned this truck for almost 8 years. I used the truck as a carpenter. I undercoated the truck every year with used motor oil. Mechanically I tried to keep up with everything because this is how I make my living. The cab is in very nice condition. The bed has some rust. Transmission: Rebuilt 8,000 miles ago - 350 turbo Engine: 350 - runs strong - doesn't smoke, doesn't use oil, no funny noises Odometer: Doesn't work right - truck has over 150,000 miles Gauges: All work A/C: Needs charged Tires: Good - about 1/2 tred Horn: Does not work Gas tanks: Dual tanks - both work Glass: All solid, no cracks Exhaust: Quiet Charging system: Good Battery: 1 1/2 yrs old - good Radiator and hoses: 2 yrs old Interior: Fair - I repaired the seat on the drivers side Radio: None Brakes: Excellent - stop on a dime Tool body: All doors function correctly and lock from sides, lights all work Needs 1 shock replaced Needs 1 tail light lens No towing hitch Less rust on undercarriage than average Starts right up Fuel injected 12 mpg - loaded 3 sets of ladder racks - top back is bent Needs oil change, spark plugs wouldn't hurt Runs good, goes down the road smooth I need half the selling price at the close of auction.
