Vehicle Detail

You are about to bid on my 1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback. I received the deluxe Marti Auto Works report on this vehicle and it is in fact a factory GT car, so don't let the gas cap fool you. This has been a labor of love for me since 2007, unfortunately I can't continue with the restoration process of this vehicle as priorities change when your about to be a Daddy for the first time. Here is what I can tell you, I first purchased this vehicle in 2007 from a gentleman who resides in Brownsville, TX. All work which has been done to the vehicle has been completed by professionals who are very good at their crafts. For starters the front of this vehicle starting at the radiator core support ending at the firewall is all brand new metal. The frame rails, fender aprons, shock towers, radiator core support, big block springs, (still have springs for small block which I can include), front shocks, a Randal's Rack and Pinion is currently in place, front floor pans, torque boxes, anew metal dash, cowl have been installed and engine support bracket. The driver's side A pillar has been partially replaced, while the passenger's side needs some attention. These parts were all purchased new from CJ Pony Parts and have not been on another vehicle ever. The car is equipped with a Master Power Brake four piston front disc brake set up. The spindles are original Ford Spindles specific to this car, not from another Ford. They have been coated with IPC(Industrial Protective Coating), so no worries ever again about rust. All rubber bushings and nuts and bolts are all new as well. The undercarriage of the car in the rear has surface rust only. For the sheet metal, the vehicle comes with four doors, two are original with contain the original glass, two are new reproduction door shells which need to be completed. Fender bolts, door hinge kit which includes hinges for both sides, driver's side Ford tooling fender, valance front mounting kit, wheel house seam cover, door hinge bolts, left full outer rocker, right full outer rocker, outer wheel house(pair), One piece full quarter panel rear(pair, both sides), rear roof brace, front valance, rear valance GT w/ rear backup lights, right strut rod/lower radiator support bracket, used 1968 Mustang bucket seats, 68 Chassis Assembly Manual, Body Assembly Manual, Weld/Seal Manual, Electrical Assembly Manual, Interior Trim Assembly Manual,Owners Manual, and a Shop Manual on CD all from MAC Antique Auto Parts. I have more money invested in parts and labor in this vehicle then I care to mention and it makes me a little ill to have come to this point. This car has great potential and I would say is about at the halfway point as far as the hard work of the restoration process goes. I have a T-5 Transmission for the car and a 302 block and heads from a late 70's Mustang. These were with the car when I originally purchased it. Unfortunately the previous owner made modifications to the center consul area for the T-5 as you will see in the pictures, this I'm told is a pretty easy repair. I have a 390 all original complete motor sitting at a local speed shop which I would be willing to include in the sale of this vehicle. Please feel free to ask any questions about this vehicle. As far as payment is concerned, I expect a PayPal Payment made in the first 48 hours of this purchase in the amount of $500.00. I expect the balance paid within 7 days of the initial sale of the vehicle. Methods of payment which I will accept are PayPal, Certified Bank Checks only, and of course cash in hand is strongly preferred. Please know you are bidding on a vehicle which is in need of complete restoration, this will take time and money on your part. This vehicle is being sold in as is condition with no possibility ever of a refund or return. All of the parts listed go with the car, I'm not interested in parting this car out. PLEASE DON'T BID ON THIS CAR UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO BUY IT! I can't afford to waste time, The Buyer is responsible for picking this vehicle up to include all of the parts listed. Don't let this car pass you buy, it will prove to be a lot of fun and a great investment, you don't see many factory GT's this year around. Thank you and good luck Additional Information, the data plate information I received from Marti Auto Works is as follows... 63A Mustang Fastback A Raven Black Paint, Ford #1724-A 2A Black Standard Bucket Seats 20M Scheduled for build: December 20, 1967 61 Dallas Ordering District 7 3.25 standard axle ratio 5 Four-speed wide ratio manual transmission Your vehicle was ordered with the following options: GT Equipment Group, Four Speed Wide Ratio Manual Transmission, F70X14 Wide Oval Tires, White Sidewall Nylon Tires, Console, AM Radio, Tinted Glass, and Chrome Style Wheels.
