Vehicle Detail
I'm selling this bike for my mother as she has not ridden it in years and has decided to finally part with it. My fathers name is on the title but it was her bike as he bought a CB 500 for himself at the same time and just had both bikes titled in his name. It has just over 7200 miles. There are three small dents in the bike, one in the front fender, one in the tank and one in the right exhaust pipe, which doesn't seem to effect performance at all and it's been there for many years. See pictures. One of the air filters got gnawed on by a mouse at one time but still filters air fine. The bike also has aftermarket mufflers, which sound good and they're nice and quiet. The kick starter does make contact with the muffler which is kind of a nuisance but isn't really an issue with electric start, which works great. The engine runs like new and the bike is in excellent mechanical condition. All the lights and horn work great. Seat is in good condition, no tears. Gas tank has been lined. Chrome is very nice. Front tire has some cracking around the sidewall and should probably be replaced if bike is going to be driven at highway speeds. Rear tire is a trial tread and in like new condition. Rides very nice, shifts like new and brakes work as they should. This is a very smooth running and riding bike, great for riding around town. Cruises at 55 very easily but you need a hill or a strong tailwind to get it much past 70. Cosmetically in great condition, original paint is nice and glossy still. This is a 37 year old bike and it does have some scratches and chips, and a little gunk on the engine but overall it's very nice. No oil leaks. Always stored inside and pampered by my mom and well maintained by my dad. Original owners manual and tool kit in pouch included. Brand new battery also. This has been a very reliable bike, I wouldn't hesitate to ride it anywhere. Serious bidders welcome to inspect the bike in person. Deposit of U.S. $100.00 due within 24 hours of auction close and full payment required within 7 days. Shipping is buyers responsibility. This is the last time I'm re listing this bike.
