The engine runs as strong and the transmission shifts smoothly. The on-board computer continually reports an average MPG around 25 in city driving and around 30 MPG during highway driving, which shows what good mechanical condition the car is in. Only High Performance Full Synthetic Oil has been used. The interior of the car is in excellent condition. The exterior has the expected road rash on the front bumper and hood, along with the road rash on the rear fender (pictured), as is common with the Z3. (Some of the apparent marks are actually bugs that hadn’t been scrubbed off). There is one small area on the right rear quarter panel that was scratched and painted (pictured), but nothing serious. The power convertible top works great and fast. The top itself is in excellent condition, and looks like new. The back plastic window has the common crease in it where the top folds when down. The window has been recently polished and it is nice and clear now. The headlights have recently been polished with a 3M headlight kit for maximum clarity. The tires and brakes are both in good condition and look to have a lot of life left in them. The power windows go up and down quickly and strong. This car has never been driven in the snow, and has been stored in a heated garage. I just had the A/C system checked and tightened up. The Freon was recharged with dye added and there are no leaks in the system. It is blowing strong and cold now. The rear right spring squeaks a little, but the ride quality is not compromised. The outer left front ball joint has a click when you come to a complete stop, but BMW said it doesn’t need to be repaired, as it is still in good shape. These are the only things wrong with the car, but I wanted to be as thorough as possible in describing it. Please let me know if you would like to see additional pictures or close ups of anything. I would be happy to answer any questions about the car. Feel free to arrange a time to come see and drive the car. There is no warranty on this car. Please address any concerns you may have prior to purchasing the car. Thank you!
