1957 Pontiac Chieftain 2-Door Sedan Original Numbers Matching 347 2-bbl V-8 -- runs very well -- super quiet 3-Spd Manual (on the column) Dual Exhaust Arizona Car -- overall extremely straight -- very little body rust (see pics) Front floors have been repaired, but trunk, rockers, frame, inner fender wells are very solid All Glass is very nice except drivers wing window - cracked Full recent Brake service -- new wheel cylinders Full recent tune-up New Battery Tires are excellent Solid Bumpers and Stainless -- does need to be redone to make perfect Good exhaust Interior is an older redo -- fine for a driver Very Original Overall!! Biggest issues: The shifter is finicky going into 1st -- needs adjustment She is hard to start after sitting for a few weeks until gas gets to the carb (still can't sort that out) -- driven daily or weekly she starts right up and goes! Some surface rust where paint has cracked off in two spots near trunk (see pics) I was going to do a patina'd mild custom with this car as you just don't see them, but I don't have the time. Car is all there and very unmolested -- drive it as you make it into what you want! Shipping is buyers responsibility -- I will help on my end, or can deliver relatively close for $1/mile.
