1977 Chevrolet Caprice Classic 2 door. Rare flat/squared off rear window coupe. Automobile has about 11,000 miles on a rebuilt 350 motor, see picture of receipt. This car has been my daily driver for about the last 12 years and it always started, even at –25 degrees when others wouldn’t. Has a great heater too. Paint has been touched up somewhat on the front of the car to cover rock chips and to keep from rusting. I’m pretty sure this car has spent its whole life in Colorado as it had a Greeley Colorado sticker on it when I purchased it. Sheet metal is in very good condition considering it is 33 years old. It has a few small dings and dents but NO rust holes. It does need a few minor things, i.e., windshield is cracked, A/C compressor bearings, dash has some cracks, sun visors are torn, headliner has a hole in it and the turn signal lever needs fixed (turn signals work but the lever is in need of repair). Car rides and drives very nicely. Fix/restore or drive as is, you decide. I have too many vehicles, it must go. Starting bid is much less than what I paid to have the new motor and other parts installed, with no reserve. Where are you going to find a daily driver with a motor that has 11,000 miles on it for that? And this is no tin-can throw away car, it’s built like a tank and a lot safer than any small import. Would make a great first car for the new driver in the family. Terms: Full payment within 7 days. I’d prefer a bank check, money order or cash but will accept a personal check. Vehicle and title will NOT be released for 14 days until check clears. It will be the buyer’s responsibility to arrange for pickup or shipping of vehicle. I will hold the vehicle for the new owner up to a month until pickup can be arranged but payment must be made in advance. I do have this vehicle listed elsewhere so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at anytime if an offer comes in that is acceptable to me. It does have 160,000 miles total on it, not 16,000 but all of the other info is correct. Sorry for the confusion. I can't seem to fix that field in the listing??
