Vehicle Detail
This is probably one of the finest pilot house five window 1/2 ton pickups to ever be offered on ebay. It is a 1951 job-rated 218 cubic inch six cylinder engine model pickup with a three speed manual column shift transmission. It was dis-assembled during it's restoration and re-assembled with all new hardware putting it back to the original factory condition. The truck has all new rubber seals, chrome part's, and new wide white wall tires have been installed. The spare is mounted in it's original position under the truck just as it came from the assembly plant when produced. The interior was professionally installed as you can clearly see in the photos provided. It has the original radio which was repaired and bench tested and is mounted in it's proper location but has not been hooked up to power as of yet. The wood in the bed of the truck is oak with stainless steel strips and it is finished with a high gloss polyureathane coating. All glass is clear without blemish. This nice little B3B is rust free with "NO" dings or dents. The paint is excellent and displays the quality workmanship put into the restoration of this truck. You can tell by the photos that it shows extremely well and would be a trophy winner at any car show. The engine starts with just a touch of the starter and it runs very smoothly, it produces very good oil pressure at all rpm's and all guages work properly. The clutch and transmission engage correctly and it shift's as smooth as it did on day one. If you have dreamed of owning one of these "B" series trucks and want one you can enjoy without going through the restoration process of spending days and hours in labor and hunting hard to find parts then this is probably the one you have been looking for. Please email lee52@cox.net or call my home, (850) 398-5379 or my cell, (850) 499-6353 if you have questions. I will answer them honestly and get back to you quickly. Oh, and yes, 44780 is the actual mileage that is documented on the title and I have the original shop repair manual as well that accompanys the sale. Thanks for looking and bidding on my auction!
