Up for auction is this 2004 Ford Taurus SE. As you can see by the pictures, it's in great shape. This is a friend of mines mother-in-laws car. She bought it for her grand daughter to drive. It was absolutely perfect when purchased. Now, there are a couple of cigarette burns, a ding on a door, and it was taken away from the grand daughter. Grandma means business!!! So, they asked me to sell it for them. They don't do eBay, and I do, so no big deal to me. I am listing it with NO RESERVE !!! The car is basically still in great shape and comes with a lot of equipment, and the list goes as follows: 3.0 V-6 motor- runs great, as it should Automatic transmission- Shifts smooth as silk. Just rebuilt from AAMCO for $2400.00 on 7-19-2010. Comes with a long warranty (it better for $2400)! The warranty is good nation wide. Receipt and paper work goes to the new owner. (obviously another reason for getting car taken away !!!) Dual Airbags Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)- works as they should AM/FM cassette and OEM 6 CD changer in center console. CD controls work from radio Power windows, door locks, and mirrors Power drivers seat Cruise control Air Conditioning- works as it should Alloy Wheels Tilt Wheel Adjustable accelerator and brake pedals- nice feature for shorter drivers Power trunk release OEM rear spoiler with built in 3rd brake lamp 5 seat vehicle with center console (no front bench) Keyless Entry with anti-theft and 2 remotes and 2 keys Remote start with 2 remotes Owners manuals and booklet The car looks great, drives and brakes straight. It doesn't leak any fluids what-so-ever and doesn't even need and oil and filter change for another 2K miles. There are no goofy warning lighst on, nor any abnormal sounds while driving. The tires in the front have @ 80% tread left, and the rear tires have @ 40% tread left. In April of 2010 (61K miles) it had it's annual state inspection, also had a 4 wheel brake job complete with front pads, 2 new rotors, rear shoes, and 2 new brake drums, and 2 rear wheel cylinders (to the tune of $636.69). Receipt will be given to the new owner. As great as the car is, I must inform you of some things I found. 1. The left rear power window in inoperative from the window switch in the door, and the master switch on the drivers door. 2. There is a palm sized ding just below the belt molding on the right front door. The paint is not broken and isn't too ugly (see pic). 3. There are some cigarette char marks on the drivers seat bottom (small -see pic), a minor one on the rear bench seat, and the worst being on the passenger front seat back (see pic). Well, that's it. The car is basically great mechanically with a few interior flaws. If you can get over those, you'll have yourself a good looking car that should last you a long time to come.
