You are bidding on a very solid 1971 Pontiac Firebird (Espirit). The car has been in a storage unit in Las Vegas, Nevada for almost 2 years. I was in the middle of disassembling it for a restoration when I had to move. I have just about paid more in storage fees than I did the car, so I've decided it's time for it to go.It has the original 350 V8 and no rusted out panels or majors damage. It does have some light surface rust, dents/dings and prior panel repairs. ***Please Take Note*** I am fours away from the car. The pictures posted are all I have available, please don't ask if I have more or can take more. The Good: all the glass is in good shape, new seat covers(in the box), new grills, new fiberglass front valance spoiler, new headliner(installed), after market headers, three piece rear spoiler and polyurethane nose. The Bad: The tires (all 4) dry-rotted in the heat and burst. This needs to be considered when picking up. This car is in really great shape for a 39 year old vehicle. It was fast and running solid when I started the project. The front end and engine have been taken apart. Fenders, radiator support, hood, wheel wells, engine components (water pump, power steering pump, alternator, etc.) are disassemble. Please consider this when bidding and for pick up. The prior owner removed the A/C compressor and box. The hole was covered up with a flat piece of sheet metal. I will answer, or attempt to answer any questions I can about the car. Please remember I am fours away from the car, so if your questions require me checking the car, be patient and consider your question may not get answered. The buyer is responsible for pick-up of the car within 7 days of the close of auction. The car is sold as is, with no warranty.
