Vehicle Detail

1970 Plymouth Barracuda Matching Numbers Big Block with Cold A/C You are bidding on a pretty RARE MOPAR. I haven’t checked to see how many came in this color combination but I would expect it to be very limited. This is a TRUE PANTHER PINK Barracuda with white vinyl top and white interior. Although not original, the hockey stripe was added which I believe blends in nicely with the black tail panel and spoiler. The big block 383 is original to the car and runs superbly. It also retains its original matching numbers automatic transmission. The rear is an 8 ¾ posi unit but I’m not sure of the gear. I would estimate a 3:23. Transmission shifts fine in all gears and passing gear works as it should. Drivetrain makes no noises, vibrations, etc… Runs Cool even in hot weather with A/C on. Factory options include factory A/C which works and blows cold air. It has power steering and factory power front disc brakes. It has the standard dash with working AM Radio. The fuel gauge works but not accurate like so many MOPARS. Original Miles are 75,000. Door Panels look very nice as well as the headliner. The console does have a crack in the usual place next to the shifter. The interior really needs nothing except maybe replacing the console due to the crack. The heater core recently started leaking so I bypassed it until the winter. The exterior is AWESOME. All chrome and stainless is in excellent condition with the exception of one of the rear bumper bumperettes which has a small chip. The paint is awesome and show quality. I would rate it a 9 out of a perfect 10. All lines are perfect. The door jambs, underneath hood and bottom of doors are excellent. The car retains all of its original RUST FREE SHEETMETAL with the exception of the driver’s quarter. I was told by the previous owner that the quarter had been damaged and was replaced. I have to assume this is the case as there is ABSOLUTELY no sign of any other REPAIR or RUST on this car. It even retains its original trunk pan. The vinyl top is in great shape not sure if original. Underneath the car is rust free and solid. Suspension was rebuilt when it was restored. ADDITIONAL PICS http://s200.photobucket.com/albums/aa165/my70superbird/1970%20PP%20Barracuda/ The Option Codes are as Follows: E63 383-4 BARREL 335 HP D32 HEAVY DUTY AUTO TRANSMISSION FM3 PANTHER PINK H6XW HIGH BACK BUCKET SEAT 521 BUILD DATE MAY 21 105448 ORDER# V1W WHITE VINYL ROOF B51 POWER BRAKES C16 CONSOLE C55 BUCKET SEATS G33 LH REMOTE H51 MAX COOL AIR J25 3 SPEED WIPER M21 ROOF DRIP RAIL MOLDING N41 DUAL EXHAUST N95 EMISSIONS CONTROL R11 AM RADIO 26 26” RADIATOR For those of you who are all about the BS designation in the Cuda VIN, this car has the same engine with the same horsepower rating with a bonus of air conditioning. The VIN on the cowl and radiator support match that of the dash vin, door decal, motor and transmission. The cars stance is compliments of new BFG 25560R15 on the rear and 23560R15 on the front. There are no issues with the car that needs attention. Drive it anywhere with no worries. Overall this car is a very nice driver in excellent condition. The paint is awesome and the car shows very well. Not a trailer queen but will win many awards at local shows. This car draws lots of attention! If you have questions please feel free to call me before bidding at (912) 713-5989. I can get a shipping quote for you if you provide a zip code. A deposit of $1000.00 is due within 48 hours close of auction. I have been buying and selling MOPARS and other makes for many years now. I have also restored several cars and take pride in my vehicles. I don’t deal in junk so be assured this is a quality vehicle that will surely appreciate in value in the future. I know the market is down but this is not a fire sale so please don’t call making ridiculous offers. The reserve is reasonable and the car is priced to sale. I reserve the right to end the auction early should the car sale locally.
