This is a one owner Pagoda!The original and only owner was an engineer,the car shows,runs,and drives like a car that would be owned by an engineer mind-EXTREMELY TIGHT and well cared for.I have owned and traded in excess of 150 Pagoda cars,this is one of the tightest examples I have had.I have never experienced a tighter,smoother shifting automatic transmission in one of these cars than the transmission in this car.The suspension is very tight,brakes smooth.The engine has had the top end redone and is quiet and smooth.The car has absolutely no rust!The car always lived in the Southern United States in a mild climate area.The car is a soft top delete car,not a California roadster,soft top can be added.The body gaps are even,the body panels straight.The chrome is like new in every aspect.The interior is old and original,still good but shows patina.This is a very interesting piece because it has such high integrity, great provanace,great drive but is by no means a showcar.It may not have the crisp fresh paint,carpets,and interior that others have but the run and drive would be hard to find a better.If you are the type of buyer that would rather have a one owner,honest 280SL over a redone car,contact me at 615-971-4409 Contact Jeff Frazier for more information.
