1966 FORD MUSTANG 2+2 FASTBACK RESTORED NUMBERS MATCHING You are bidding on a 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback. The 2+2 fastback has a strong 289 with a C4 automatic trans. Both have been rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago making the car very sound and reliable. The car is rust free and has been restored with in the last year. It's a beautiful classic muscle car. Body: The Body has been painted silver with black stripes (base coat, clear coat). The quarters, fenders and doors have all been blocked out so the car is nice and straight. This Mustang has received all new chrome, bumpers (front and rear), gas cap, back up lights, outter door handles, Mustang fender emblems, GT badges, 289 emblems, windshield stainless trim and rear window stainless trim, grill, and grill emblem, mirror, and a nice set of factory styled steel wheels. Interior: The fastback has a great factory interior, new headliner, seats, carpet, door handles, window cranks, arm rests and dash pad. The Mustang has the fold down back seat, all the factory rear pannels are in great condition, along with the dog door (or pass through door) from the trunk to the back seat. She's a good looking car inside and out. Drive train: The engine is a 289 "C" code car, with a numbers matching motor, trans and rear. The C4 and 289 have been rebuilt 10k miles ago so she runs strong, shifts solid and sounds like a Mustang should, a nice growl but not obnoxiously loud. The engine bay is clean and detailed with new chrome valve covers and air cleaner. All the service has been kept up. The car gets an oil change every 3000 miles and regular maintenance.
