Here is a 1936 Ford Slantback.These are rare cars because most had trunks.For the age its not bad.I have seen alot worse sell for more than i am asking.Has a good body in primer.pretty solid.Has some small dents ,nothing major.Needs top filled in.The front floors are pretty bad but they make replacemants.Comes with fenders,running boards and back fenders,hood,sides.pretty complete.the fenders are in great shape except for each one has a tear than can be repaired.not a lot of rust on them.There is a radiator and grille.The grille is in ok shape and maybe able to fix.I was told it was for a 35.I dont know. The chassis has been set up for a mustang 2 front suspension and the rear is set up for a 4 link.the front is just a Mustang 2 crossmember.But they are pretty expensive and to install them is to.It is set up in back for a 4 link and kicked up.The chassis isnt bolted to the body.it might require modification.I have alot of money tied up in this and am going to loose money.I think my buy it now is more than reasonable for such a collectible car. If you look at most cars like this you have to buy it,then sand all the surface rust down.Ususally the bodies are much worse.Fenders usually arent as good either. Then you have to take a stock frame and box it.Buy the crossmember ,install it.Set the back up for a rearend and four link.Takes money time.already done.just the chassis alone would cost you a bundle. here is a video.any questions just ask. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evcZKXXCyAk here is a link to a body that sold for 3000.00 http://www.desertclassics.com/Ford36sLT. this is a great chance to own a hot rod on a budget.like i said i have seen many bodies worse than this sell for alot more.you dont have to pay for the chassis work it is already done which saves alot.heck the chassis and work done is probably worth what i am asking.i had one ebayer tell me the body alone was worth 3000.i dont want to sell but divorce is the reason which i am sure alot of you guys know where i am coming from.
