Vehicle Detail
Up for auction I have my 1995 Nissan 240SX SE. I bought this car about a year ago and started doing some minor modifications to it. I have recently become unemployed so the toy has to go. The previous owner had the engine replaced at 120,000 miles with a Jasper crate motor (~$2900) due to a rod bearing issue. I will list all the good things about the car and the modifications, then I will list all the things that are wrong with the car to the best of my ability. When I bought the car, I noticed some slipping in the clutch so I had it replaced with an Exedy stage 1 clutch. I also had the shop install the short throw shifter at the expense of the shifter boot.(see photo) I then bought a MAF adapter and installed a K&N type cone filter system. Replaced the plugs and wires about 6000 miles ago and have drien it about 240 miles since the last oil change. I replaced the brake pads in February, and have driven the car less than 2000 miles since then. I will also include an ECU mod chip that I purchased for the car but never got the chance to have it installed. It currently has 2 CD players installed, one is just in the hole to fill space, the other is a JVC mp3 compatible CD player with a front aux. input. No rips or tears in any of the seats. The factory speakers have all been replaced. I love this car and absolutely hate to see it go but the bills have to be paid. I wouldn't hesitate to hop in this car and drive across the country. Now for the minor issues with the car. The car will need new tires before winter. The A/C needs to be recharged. The passenger side PW switch will roll the window up but not down, Drivers side switch sticks occasionally. Some jerk ran into the drivers side front fender while it was parked at work and left the scene. Small dent should be able to be popped out and buffed out...just no time or money. The sunroof trim is broken (photo) but the sunroof has never leaked. Power mirrors do not work. Paint is fading on the spoiler. Shifter boot is missing. Cigarette lighter socket was removed. Tear in carpet under gas pedal which is mostly covered by the floormat. Drivers side taillight is cracked but works fine (photo). Top of the back seat is faded from sun exposure. Trunk lock is missing but the inside release lever works. There are small cracks on sides of bumper cover. (photo) It has a few door dings but the paint is in overall great shape. If I think of anything else, I will revise the listing. This car is fifteen years old and therefore has a few minor issues but will make a great daily driver or project car. This car is fast and extremely fun to drive. It will spin the rear tires on a whim. I would love to fix the things that need repair on the car and keep it forever but that isn't an option. I will also be listing it locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I have tried to list any issues with the car as honestly and thoroughly as possible. I will be adding more photos after it gets detailed in the morning. I have tons more photos now that I will gladly send you by email, just message me. Thank you for looking and Happy Bidding!
