1997 ford ranger xlt ext cab 2.3l 5speed, this truck has a brand new clutch, including pilot and throwout bearings new disc and pressure plate and the flywheel was milled, so an a1 install with about 250 miles on it now, it also has all brand new brake lines wich were done with poly armor line "the coated stuff". the truck runs good and drives good, its a littel rough around the edges cosmetically but mechanically sound. see pics for the following - the front grill is cracked, the back bumper is dented, the front fender is dented, there are verious scratches and ding around the exterior, the only body rust that I have noticed is the rocker panels on the extended cab part of the cab "behind the doors but in front of the bed" and there is some coming through on the rear pass wheel well but I think thats it, there is no severe rust or rotting out on the truck, the over cab break light is cracked and the regular tail lights have a chip and a scuff........trying to get eveything here but the general idea is it was a work truck that was mechanically well maintaned. ...............on the interior there are some cigarette burns and some dicolorations, the headliner has been removed "due to it falling down" the windshield is cracked and should be replaced and the original radio has been removed due to falure to work and replaced with a pioner mosfet that is satalite radio ready however there is no mounting kit cause it kinda just fits or stays there, and the driver seat belt wont clip but I just plug it in the middle seat and its fairly comfortable...........like I said I am trying my best to list eveything but the truck is sold as is, also the windshield wash works but will not shut off therefor is disconected under the hood and the wipers work but somtimes you have to turn them on and off to get the delay to work, not often but somtimes when you turn them on they just go to regular speed, I'm not 100% but I think the if the switch were replaced it would fix both problems. despite the wear and tear on this ranger and the fact that it has 196,5xx miles on it, it runs very well and smooth, it is fairly comfortable and does its job as a truck, if you have any questions that have not been answered here please look at the pictures and if you still have questions feel free to call me at 1-216-225-8854 my name is chesterOn Aug-10-10 at 00:25:17 PDT, seller added the following information: OK a few things I had failed to mention, the rear pass tire has a bubble in the sidewall, and the rims are not original they are american racing rims and are pitted, they have been cleaned but still have pit marks around the inside ring and as an attempt to prevent them from rusting again I sprayed the front two with clear coat and it dulled the chrome finish a bit, the back two I just put wax on to help keep the pit marks in check. also the dome light will not go off so I have the fuse pulled, and since there is no headliner it is held up with two pretty good magnets. Also the truck does not and never did have air conditioning, it also only has rear wheel abs "from the factory", it did just pass the emissions test "if they make you get that where you live".
