Vehicle Detail

1990 Porsche 944 S2 Coupe Only 449 Sent to US in 1990! NO RESERVE AUCTION! Thankyou for viewing our auction. You are looking at a 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Coupe. This S2 is finished in Black with Linen (off white) leather interior. The car has a clean title with no accidents. The mileage is 190,404 and the car runs strong. The 944 S2 production ran from 1989-1991, in 1990 only 449 were sent to the US. This S2 has an optional limited slip differential. Condition of the car: The body of the car is a bit rough. The front sheet metal surrounding the headlights is dented pretty good (I have the new piece, only needs to be painted). The driverside front fender has dents (I have a replacement fender). The driverside door has dents and will need to be replaced (I have the full door with window). The back end of the car has some small dings below the spoiler area. The passenger side of the car is clean. The roof near the sunroof has been painted. It looks bad, I would suggest repainting the area, try to blend it with the rest of the car. A plus side is the car shows no accidents and has a clean title. The paint is original to the car. The interior is in fair condition. The dash has NO CRACKING! Very suprising for a 944, not even one imperfection on the dash board (see pictures). The front seats show wear for 20 years. The driverseat has a small split on the outer bolster (see picture). The rear seats are clean. The carpet is overall nice given the age of the car. The Sun currently does not go up and down. You can hear the motor working. The plastic gears need to be replaced (cheap fix). The headlights work fine, they open and close with no problems. How the car drives: This 944 is a strong driver. It never overheats, no smoke on start up or driving. The odometer currently is not working. The title is not a TMU (true mileage unkown). The miles show actual. The clutch is strong, the transmission is strong, no grinding of gears no worries. The 3.0L DOHC 4 cylinder engine has 208 HP and she really pulls strong, especially around 5,000 RPM. If you are looking for a late model Porsche 944 I would recommend this car. It is rare and has good performance even compared to new sports cars out there. The S2 looks like a turbo model (front bumper and rear valance). The brakes are the same as a 928S4 and 944 Turbo S, big 4 piston calipers for extra stopping power. The car has a limited slip. This is not a perfect car but a driver...Would make a great track or autocross car. This Porsche is SOLD "AS IS" with no implied warranty. Please do not bid if you have no intention of paying. Call 732-985-9090 with any questions. On Aug-12-10 at 20:10:59 PDT, seller added the following information: The car is all ready sold! NO RESERVE! Get your bids in, you DO NOT want to miss out!
