It is a true 245 mile survivor owned by a VW dealer family, stored for 35 years, real-deal car. The LaGrande edition came in 3 special metallic colors, this blue, a green and gold metallic. They came with the factory steel sunroof and corduoroy inserts in the seats. This car has never had a radio installed so the blanking plate is still in the dash as is the rubber grommet for the pre-drilled antenna mount. Original Goodyear bias-ply tires are mounted on original wheels still with the original factory wheel weights. The car was never rustproofed or undercoated so the underside is all there to see, nothing hidden. The car is 35 years old so there is some aging as noted in the photos. It is an unrestored-unpreserved car, it is a survivor that can be left as it is or taken to the next level. The drivers chair shows some breakdown as the car has been displayed from time to time on their showroom and clients have been allowed to sit in it. The car drives as you might expect a 200 mile car to drive, it is tight, repsonsive, accelerates quickly and certainly feels like a new Super Beetle. Everything works, no oil leaks, see undercarriage photos. This is a true VW collectors dream, this car could be shown as is or made into trailer queen, it could be driven if that's what you are looking for too.
