1967 Ford Mustang Coupe For sale is an exceptional original Dark Moss Green 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe. This car has 60,382 original miles. It was purchased from the family of the original owner. Vehicle was in heated storage for the past 30 years. The vehicle had always been properly maintained while being driven and prior to parking had a tune up along with a rebuilt 2 barrel carburetor, brakes and tires top off the maintenance. The tires are still like new, however they are 30 years old so it is questionable how far one should drive them. We have done local driving tests here and everything performs well. This vehicle is equipped with factory air (that blows cold), power steering, and automatic transmission with a 289 engine. Car has some minor dings in rear portion on the top and as usual (with a 43 year old car) has minor dings around the body in various places. Car has been only washed and waxed and no efforts have been made to hide flaws. Indications on paint show that there has been some painting on the left front fender and hood. For someone that is looking for an original 1967 Mustang Coupe as a daily driver, this vehicle fits the category of ONE OF THE BEST. Its original interior is flawless with the exception of a small split in the seam of the passenger, driver’s seat and driver's side armrest. However one would have to look closely to see these splits. The only alterations or changes ever made on this vehicle was that the owner during the late 70’s, early 80’s installed an AMFM radio (not a chop job) along with a CB antenna that was popular at the time, needless to say the antenna has been removed. These two alterations were professionally done so no unneeded drilling or chopping occurred on the vehicle. Only, due to a leaking gas tank, inside the heated garage, forced the sale of this vehicle. If the tank had not started leaking, creating intolerable fumes, it would still be enclosed in the heated garage; needless to say, the rusted tank had been replaced.
