1965 CADILLAC “LIMO” Imperial 9 Passenger Sedan With Drivers Partition SERIES 75 FLEETWOOD Very rare, only 795 ever made! This Series 75 Cadillac Limousine has been privately owned for over two decades. The engine purrs without the typical lifter noise normally associated with these engines. It is strong and burns clean... The interior is immaculate with the exception of some dash work and one tear in the roof cloth, These should be replaced. For those who think they see a bit of 1959 in the 1961-1965 Series 75, you are right. These were built at a low volume. So the inner bodies were retained with outer sheet metal updated. The regular caddies WERE changed in 1961 and 1965. The 75s were least changed underneath to amortize tooling costs. The next version of the Series 75 was 1966 (A year later) and its Inner body was retained until 1970! Everything in this beautiful Cadillac works, Ac needs recharged. All gauges are operational and all switches function. This is a superb vehicle to put into regular commercial service for wine tours or as a billboard maybe even a movie car. Use as a personal vehicle or add to your collection. It comes with a clear title, has a very reasonable reserve and is ready to show after some mild restoration. This rare LIMO is valued at $45,000 when fully restored 1965 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Sub-Series 697/698 69733-S 4-Door Imperial 9 Passenger Sedan w/ Driver's Partition Weight: 5260 lbs. (2385 KG) Production Total: 795. EASY ID for ALL '65 Cad models: Vertically superimposed dual headlights. New, flat grille without center bar. No more tail fins, except Series 75. The "75" was essentially a cookie cutter duplicate of 1964. New, vertical tail-light housing in five-sided rectangular rear bumper housing. New wheel covers [resemble very closely those used in 1966 and are not a reliable way of identifying these models]. 1965 CADILLAC Series 75 Fleetwood Limo . POWER DIVIDER WINDOW FRONT AND REAR AIR CONDITIONED POWER WINDOWS POWER ANTENNA POWER BRAKES JUMP SEATS POWER DRIVER SEAT POWER STEERING The chauffeur’s compartment is black leather on black, while the President’s cabin is grey on grey. Cabin features: Electric Privacy Glass panel Power Windows Secondary Radio Controls Secondary Heat Controls Secondary Air Conditioning Controls Double Jump Seats for Parades Foot Rests Extended Features : SUSPENSION New Delco Superlift rear shock absorbers provided automatic load leveling; tilting and telescoping steering wheel adjustment became standard on the "Calais", "De Ville" and "Fleetwood" series · ENGINE: V-8. Cast iron block, 4.13 x 4 Bore & Stroke, 429 cid (70 L), five main bearings, hydraulic valve lifters, 10.5:1 compression ratio, Dual Exhaust System replaced solely with 4 barrel induction, 4 barrel Carter Model#3655S, Brake Horsepower (Net) 340 HP @ 4600 rpm. · In 1964 the new block from '63 was punched to 429 inches. This block was continued through 1967. Bore and stroke: 4.00 x 3.875 inches -Compression ratio: 10.5:1 - Horsepower: 325 @ 4800 rpm · Five main bearings -Hydraulic valve lifters -Carburetion: Rochester four-barrel model 710930. Although neither engine displacement or output changed, the 1963 Cadillac V-8 was completely redesigned. Quieter, smoother and more efficient, the new motor was one-inch lower, four inches narrower and 1-1/4 inches shorter than the 1962 V-8. It was also some 82 pounds lighter, due to the use of aluminum accessory drives. Cadillac's long-running V-8 got its first major revision in 14 years for 1963. Bore and stroke were unchanged, as were valves, rocker arms, cylinder heads, compression (still 10.5:1), and connecting rods. But nearly everything else was different: lighter, stronger crankshaft; a stiffer block weighing 50 pounds less than the previous one; ancillaries relocated to improve service access. While all this did little for performance, the revised 390 was much smoother and quieter. Then again, performance was already good. For 1964 the engine was punched to a 429 and greatly increased power and torque. Most impressive was the near-silence at high speed. In this, many testers held Cadillac superior to Rolls-Royce. Styling departed from recent practice. Fins were lower than ever, the grille was bulkier, new outer body panels and side moldings created a more slab-sided effect, and the rear was more massive, with elongated vertical tail/backup-light housings. àToday you can own this very rare and well designed American classic for half the price of a new vehicle. Imagine yourself touring the highway in this Presidential Class Limo, designed with complete privacy and comfort in mind. Dont wait, this deal may be gone tomorrow. Look at the incredible deal on the buy it now price. Vehicle valued at over $45,000 with final restoration items completed.
