My 1965 Mustang convertible has had a professional, rotissorie restoration to stock condition. The original 289 V8, 200 hp engine, 3-speed manual transmission and all mechanicals were rebuilt at 73000 miles. Repainted in the original, correct Springtime Yellow. Interior totally redone in white vinyl as original. New carpets, floor mats. Original console in excellent condition. Excellent glass, rubber, chrome and stainless all around. New white top installed at restoration. Original data plate, owners manual with car. The car has won numerous trophies at North and South Carolina car shows including regional Mustang Club of America events. It has been used strictly as a show car since restoration. A feature article on the car appeared in MUSTANG TIMES, the official publication of the MCA in February 2009. After market Mustang AM/FM radio installed in original radio slot; original AM radio comes with the car. Less than 4500 miles on correct white wall tires. Original wheel covers in excellent condition with newer knock-off spinners. New spare wheel, tire and jack set in trunk. This car runs, shifts, steers and drives suberbly. Very strong, high revving engine; a comfortable cruiser at boulevard and highway speeds.The car has always been driven to shows, not trailered, and shows some very minor, touched-up paint chips. I bought this car as the third owner from new less than three years ago with about 100 miles since restoration. It's been a joy to own, drive and show but I've decided to sell this beautiful car to focus on my other hobby, playing and collecting guitars. Car can be inspected in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
