Vehicle Detail

DESCRIPTION You're looking at a "no-reserve-this-car-MUST-go" auction for a 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Limousine. I bought this vehicle in February 2008 with 59,435 miles on it to use for my wedding. Since then, I've used it for six additional weddings and two proms - all for friends and family members. We've also used it for some birthday celebrations and a few nights out as it can seat nine people comfortably. However, as with everything in life, times change and other things/events take a higher priority than maintaining a vehicle that is more of a "novelty" than a necessity. The passenger vehicle registration is current and the Pennsylvania state inspection is good until January 2011. Last, but not least, the title is clear, in-hand and ready to be signed over to the new owner. The following work has been done since I've owned the car: -new air & fuel filter -changed oil and filter soon after I bought it and two times since then -replaced trim on the rear bumper -replaced one side mirror -replaced driver's side reverse light -had limo tint professionally installed on rear five windows -new pads and rotors on front Work that should probably be done by the new owner: -new front tires -replace steering components (these new parts are included in this auction - pair of heavy-duty inner and outer tie-rod ends, two adjusting sleeves and idler arm - see photos) Issues the new owner may want to fix, but I've personally decided to live with thus far: -front driver's side bumper trim is cracked (new one is included - see photo) -mechanical indicator for "P, R, N, D, 3, 2, 1" doesn't move with gear shifter -a button is missing on the seat adjuster console on driver's side door (see photo) - ALL seat functions still work properly -a few reflectors on the inside of the doors are either broken or missing (shown in photos) -vinyl covering on roof is starting to come out of the front trim piece (shown in photos) -it appears the middle seat is supposed to mechanically flip and face the front, but doesn't -the middle windows do not go down and I've never investigated why I will also add the A/C compressor was replaced and system was refilled about a year and a half ago. However, the compressor stopped working last week and I can't really say what the problem is now. Even with all of the issues stated above, the car still starts, drives and shifts perfectly - even better than my '02 blazer did! It offers a smooth ride and has the very responsive LT-1 5.7 liter engine. Apparently, that particular engine is a close relative to those once used in Corvettes. 1996 was also the last year for these cars and the "traditional big Cadillac" as a whole. It's truly a fun car to drive and there's no doubt I'm going to miss it. Pictured below is a screenshot of the NADA book value for a "1996 Eureka Coach Senator 6-door" Cadillac Limousine - the exact make/style of this vehicle. Kelley Blue Book didn't have an option for used limousines, but HERE are the values for a "regular" 1996 Fleetwood Brougham. According to the KBB definitions, I would say the condition of the vehicle is "FAIR". You can see what the vehicle is worth, but there is absolutely NO reserve on this auction. Of course, it'd be nice to recoup the costs of the additional parts I'm including with the car along with the associated eBay fees, but no matter where it ends - it's gone! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - My overall goal was to describe this vehicle as best as I could and to the extent expected - hopefully I've done that and more. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding and I will try to answer them quickly and to the best of my ability. If you would like to see the vehicle in person, I'd be happy to meet at Exit 242 off I-80 in Mifflinville, PA (PA-339). Thanks for checking out the auction and good luck! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - PAYMENT A 25% deposit is due via PayPal within 48 hours of auction end. The remaining payment may be made in the form of a certified bank check or cash within 7 days upon auction's end unless other arrangements were made ahead of time. DELIVERY I will gladly drive and deliver the car to the winning bidder within the state of Pennsylvania on the following terms - 50 miles for every $1500 of the final bid. If the final bid is $4000, I will drive it up to 100 miles. The winning bidder is responsible for locating and informing me of the nearest notary so I can meet them there to complete all necessary paperwork. If the winning bidder decides to pick up the vehicle, I will assume the responsibility of locating a notary and relaying the information to them. Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool.
