I'd be very impressed if you could show me a nicer 170k+ mile 12 year old 4x4 that looked and performed better. This is a 2-owner no road salt California and Colorado truck. It's not new, but it's absolutely beautiful for the age and mileage. It's very well equipped, runs like a top, has almost new tires, has a new windshield, it drives as good as it looks, and it needs nothing. This truck has a whole 'nother lifetime to go yet and is truly a lot of pickup for the money. exterior The paint and body on this truck are just beautiful for the age and mileage. It does show an accident on the history report, but it doesn't bother me at all. I've been over and under the truck carefully and if any damage occurred it was minimal and if anything was repaired it was done impeccably well. Everything matches, lines up, and looks perfect, really a beautiful pickup. There is no indication of damage at all on the undercarriage. The paint has very good gloss, no rust, hail, or noticeable damage to speak of. We didn't wax the truck, this is how it came in. The wheels are in decent shape, not new, but they look fine. The windshield is new. The tires are almost new, very very deep tread and the rears still have the nubs at the edges. The bed liner is faded a bit, but does the job. The truck isn't brand new, it has some road wear on the lower rockers, tailgate has a few scratches. There's some chips on the hood, pitting, etc, just normal stuff. Any truck, even if babied will incur some wear over the course of 174k miles. interior The interior is on par as well. It doesn't smell like it's ever been smoked in, smells very pleasant. There's no burn holes. There's a bit of normal aging and discoloration as to be expected, but not as much as most. Only the piping on the edge of the drivers seat has a bit of cracking, leading me to believe it has mostly freeway mileage. 174k miles of in/out stop'n'go will wear a seat like this to shreds. The air blows ice cold and it came in that way. Everything works perfect, I like the new stereo with the jack for my iphone. I'm sure any MP3 player will plug in. We have the original manuals. The window tint on the passenger window is a bit bubbly but not bad. No sunroof, ebay defaults. mechanical I put 1400 miles on this truck. It's been my driver the last few weeks. I even took it to the mountains to go hiking, ended up on a trail that when we got to the trailhead I was very surprised to see a Subaru Forester. In other words, the 4x4 works fantastically. :) It gets very good fuel economy for a 4x4, over 20mpg in my estimation. The 2.7 is the larger of the 4-cylinders and it utilizes a timing chain, so no belt to worry about changing. The motor runs smooth and very quiet, no ticking at all. We did a fresh tune-up, new plugs, and we replaced the TPS sensor and adjusted the IAC. The oil and filter are new, brakes are superb, no wet leaks or otherwise hiccups. It's not a new truck, few little occasional creaks in the suspension as any older Toy will have, but nothing to concern over. The steering is tight, it tracks perfectly, transmission doesn't have a single grind or chirp, and clutch grabs right where it's supposed to. We also did a compression check and it maintains 125-132lbs of pressure at all 4 cylinders. This truck has clearly been babied since day one, a testament to how Toyotas can run forever. I see this truck going 350k+ miles if you keep up on it like the previous owners have. You'll be pleased! comments This is a neat pickup and a rare find. It does have some mileage and is sold as-is.
