'85 Subaru GL wagon. This car will not pass Pennsylvania inspection due to SEVERE RUST. I've spent countless hours in the past 6 years repairing the rust to get it through inspection and this year,I finally cried, "UNCLE." This Subaru has also been mechanically maintained to the best of my own capabilities. I've owned it since '04. Car has 186,000+ miles on it (Somehow eBay only allows a five digit input). It has a great running carburated EA 84, 1800 cc motor. I installed the present motor in May of '09 from a car with 130k miles and selected this particular motor because it was so clean. I suspect it may have less miles but I have no way of proving it. All I know is that it will idle smoothly at 300 rpm. Motor has about 6k miles on it since I installed it. When I did, I replaced the water pump, timing belts, clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. Radiator is a fresh looking junkyard find. RARE Parts!!! This car is equipped with a DUAL RANGE Trasmission. In all my junk yard searches I've not come across a single one. It also has the original OEM WAGON WHEELS. I do have center caps. I've saved a bunch of parts that I have acquired throught the years. You'll get all these with the purchase. This car may make a great ice racer. I also have four rather fresh knobby snow tires that look like they will accept studs. I'll throw these in at no extra cost. If you need additional photos or information contact me through eBay.
