2001 Honda S2000 This ultra-low mileage S2000 is in fantastic condition! This S2000 is currently owned by a car enthusiast (my father) and stored in a carpeted and heated garage. Exterior The striking Berlina Black paint has a deep mirror shine and is completely original. The black convertible top has no rips or tears and the rear window is in excellent condition. The power top functions as intended and when closed is sealed from air and water. The factory convertible top cover is also included and looks to be unused. The stock Honda 16" 5 spoke wheels are perfect and the original Bridgestone Potenza S-02 Pole Position look as if they just left the showroom floor. Included with the auction is an indoor car cover in excellent condition for protection of your new S2000. Interior This S2000 has an exceptional interior. The black leather seats have been conditioned seasonally and show virtually no wear, even on the side bolsters. The carpet is clean and the original floor mats are included. This is a new car interior, period. Everything that surrounds the driver functions properly. Stereo controls within fingers reach, the push-button start, the Air conditioning and cruise control. The gear shift knob and slick shifting 6 speed work perfectly. Mechanical This S2000 runs beautifully. With less than 11,500 miles on the clock, the 240 horsepower F20C engine pulls strong to the 9000 rpm redline and the transmission shifts flawlessly. This 2001 model features very neutral handling, in contrast to the later AP2 cars which were tuned for more understeer. The battery has been replaced recently with a stronger Interstate brand unit.
