You’re bidding on an all original 1965 Ford Thunderbird, 2nd owner car, 1 family, Grandfather to Granddaughter, never been wrecked. Very high option car including factory 390, auto, A/C, Power everything, Steering column that moves out of the way for easier entry/exit. The car has 64,978 original miles, with appox. 1800 miles on the completely rebuilt engine, upgraded with Edelbrock performer camshaft, Edelbrock performer intake manifold, Edelbrock 650 cfm carb, Mallory Unilite distributor and 1,900 miles on the rebuilt trans. All the brakes have been redone and dual exhaust with less than 2000 miles on them, factory front power disc brakes. New battery bought last week. The car comes with all receipts documenting everything. One receipt alone for restoration work is over $10,000 with about $15,000 in total receipts. The original speedometer and odometer works, along with the temp gauge. The A/C is complete and everything is still connected, it just needs to be charged. Also the original air cleaner is included. All the seats, headliner, door panels, rear panels, seat belts, have all been redone. The dash is cracked, all it needs is a reproduction dash cap to look like new again ($130 part) New wide white wall American Classic tires ($950), new Thunderbird knockoffs for the hubcaps. The car also comes with an extra rear tire skirt painted to match. Its not a full on show car, but a clean weekend driver. The paint has some flaws, a few scratches and nicks, but the car is a real head turner. It starts right up. The car is currently registered, Clean Title. On Aug-08-10 at 09:09:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had a lot of questions regarding the windows, just to let everyone know. The rear drivers quarter window seems to work fine, all the rest work intermittenly, it probably needs a new switch in the center console. The power drivers seat probably needs a new gear or whatever they use, the seat motor and switch both work. The gauges work, but the clock and radio do not work. I've also had tons of emails asking for my "bottom line" I don't have a bottom line, I will NOT pull this auction early, it's a no reserve auction so who ever has the highest bid gets the car. Thanks!
