Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a used 2003 Jeep Wrangler. I bought the Jeep last Fall from a mechanic who put the lift on. It is a BDS lift, I am not sure if it is a 2" or 3" lift because I never saw the stock ride height. The kit came with springs and shocks. It is not a cheap lift (no body lift or spacers) it is the real deal. The engine was also rebuilt last summer. The ride is a lot softer compared to stock Jeeps that I have rode in. The body is not in the best condition because of its off-road use but there are no holes or rotting whatsoever. Frame is rock solid. It is the perfect off road vehicle with excellent road manners. It is extremely reliable (driven numerous trips to Wisconsin for snowboarding and Indiana for water sports) and it is a daily driver. It does not leak any fluids whatsoever. Below is a list of all the work that has been done to this vehicle: BDS Lift Custom Front and Rear Bumpers with D-ring mounts. Rear has receiver hitch. Smittybilt XRC8 winch that was used about 12 times. Cover included. Quick disconnect sway bar links. (More articulation off-road) 2 Hella 500 off road lights mounted on the front bumper. Headlight Housing has been replaced so that newer style bulbs can be used instead of replacing the whole fixture. Mirror relocation brackets added. ( some states require side mirrors so when the doors are off, still legal) The radiator was replaced last summer It runs on an electric fan that was replaced in March 2010 The motor has been rebuilt (2.4L I-4) Put new plugs in March 2010 Automatic Transmission was replaced in March 2010 Transmission skid plate has be reinforced and is probably stronger than the whole Jeep now Transfer Case fluid has been replaced in April 2010 Rear end was rebuilt by the same mechanic who rebuilt the engine. Recently replaced the rear pinion seal and checked fluid. Tires have at least 20,000 miles left on them and the spare was used once. 31x10.5x15 Firestone Destination A/T The wheels are the standard black 8 hole 15" wheels and are in good shape. (no bends major chips etc) The interior has been rhino lined black (strength, durability) There was no center console so I put an artillery box in as an arm rest. There is no back seat with this Jeep because it was frequently used as a sidejob car Front seats have water-proof seat covers Windows have been tinted. Soft Top (Rear Window Not Tinted) Hard Top (Tinted Windows as well) Rear Window wiper works I am not a radio person but the speakers have been upgraded to Kicker. This Jeep does have the sound bar Stock radio (10 preset options) CD player Oil always changed at or before 3000 miles. New coolant New trans fluid New transfer case fluid All suspension components are greased every oil change. Tires wear very well for a lifted Jeep. *The pictures were taken yesterday July 31, 2010 I am rounding up to 100,000 miles on the odometer because I do not want to mislead anyone. I have never sold a car on ebay. I will answer any and all questions to the best of my ability promptly. I live in Frankfort Illinois, a southern suburb of Chicago. If you want to see it or drive it before you bid please contact me I have no problem in doing that. I am selling the Jeep because we are in need of a vehicle that will carry larger capacities of people and cargo. More pictures available upon request. *The vehicle is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to remove from ebay at my discretion. On Aug-04-10 at 07:02:01 PDT, seller added the following information: The hood has many small scratches and a few rock chips and is dented up from previous owner use. The body is not in the best condition. It has dents and scratches and very little surface rust. I was told that with a fresh paint job it would look brand new. The doors need some work but we have had them off most of the summer and rarely use them anyways. I can post any recommended pictures if needed. I a little overwhelmed with the response I have been getting about the sale of this vehicle and will post more pictures tonight. Thank you and if you have any questions please feel free to message me through ebay or at my email address joekoszulinski@gmail.com. Thanks
