NO RESERVE……….THIS IS BEING RELISTED DUE TO A NON-PAYING BIDDER! If you can't pay.........don't bid!!! One Owner car up until 2009; I purchased this car from the original California owner out of Monetary CA (via broker) August 2009. The car was sold to its original California owner in 1968 off the show room floor, which the estate sold after his death. Please note that I also have the PHS Documented paperwork to confirm the car's authenticity and options. This is a numbers correct 68-GTO VIN: 24678Z121540 Body: CV24267 Trans: 27513PX Manifold: 9790140 The only thing that appears to not be original is the paint and wheels; I do not have the original wheels. The exterior paint on the car is Silver; the original color was “April Gold”. The car has a black convertible top (Excellent Condition) and with it's original factory color 'Black' original interior. (Carpet appears to have been replaced; it’s in like new condition) Obviously always garage kept with the original floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas completely solid and rust-free. There are no signs that the car has had any accidents of any kind - obviously an always garaged and cherished car since new! The car is a REAL head turner with it’s Silver and Black look and great profile; looks extremely impressive in it's clean and well care for condition. Interior is also in quite exceptional and mostly original condition apart from the “possible” new carpet. The car has all its original logos in all the right places and came factory equipped with a rare bench seat. Seeing as the car is fully loaded with factory options, as listed earlier, makes this car particularly rare and desirable to the Muscle Car collector or Pontiac enthusiast! The dashboard, the headliner, the carpets and all the seats are in absolutely exceptional condition with virtually no signs of wear and tear! All the chrome work is also in very good condition and also please note that the tonneau cover (or boot) for the soft top is included (just not shown in photos). This particular car drives great - must be driven to be believed - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver! This is a rare opportunity to own a great daily driver and never abused example of an always garaged and rust free highly factory optioned 1968 Pontiac GTO Convertible in stunning condition throughout with it's highly desirable original matching number engine and options! Please view additional photos at this site: http://www.photoshow.com/watch/cR5xb3dr I have complete photos of the undercarriage if you need them. I’m selling this great time machine to start another project; I’ll consider trades on the following “project” cars: 1955 Nomad 1940 Pick-up Truck 1932 to 1934 Ford PU Roaster 1957 Thunder Bird No Rust Buckets!!!
