My family has grown, and I need a vehicle with more room for kids and gear, so I'm selling my Porsche. This listing summarizes the most important points. The car is a "Millennium Edition", which is a 2000 Carrera 4 coupe with a special set of options (some of which were only available on this model). Only 911 were built; this one is number 822. It was my daily driver for a couple of years, then switched to weekends only, so it's low mileage. As of the time of this listing, there are only 29788 miles on the odometer. The car has been maintained carefully, and I have the records. It's in excellent mechanical condition and the 30K service has already been performed. All the work was done by Carlsen Porsche in Redwood City, CA. The only maintenance that I know is needed is that the front tires are getting old, and should be replaced within a year. I haven't performed a pre-purchase inspection (PPI), but you're welcome to arrange one at your own expense. Cosmetically, the car is in good condition, with a few minor issues -- some cracks in the wood burl, buffer marks on a side-view mirror, some chips on the driver's side rear, and one spot of curb rash on a wheel. The only major work done on the car was an engine replacement under warranty at 7000 miles, due to a failed connecting rod. There have been a few minor repairs; please see the website for details. Please note that Carfax thinks this car has had only one owner and that it's a commercial vehicle. Both of those statements are incorrect. I'm actually the second owner; I bought it "used" (there were 328 miles on the odometer) from Claridge's in Fremont, CA. AutoCheck correctly shows that there have been two owners. I have several accessories that I'll be including in this sale, including a roof transport system with roof box, a battery maintainer, a cover, and a Valentine One radar detector.
