You are bidding on my well kept 1982 Porsche 911 SC Targa. This car is rust free and its original paint still shines. The interior is black leather. The seats are leather with wool inserts. The targa top is like new, it fits well and looks great. The exterior shows no sign of rust bubbles. This car has not been repainted or rebuilt so there are some road chips, rock chips and parking lot dings. The chrome is in excellent condition and present. The black leather interior is in excellent condition with minimal wear on the seats. The seat pads are firm. The dash is crack-free, although it appears that it was repaired. The carpets are in excellent condition. The windows go up and down. The wheels move round and round and the Porsche goes nicely down the road! I have many of the car's records - including those relating to a new clutch in 05, and an alternator this year. The tensioners were replaced but I do not have the receipt as that was done by a prior owner. When I bought the car I was told that it had come from Seattle - and the work receipts show work by John Walker's Workshop. This Targa is powered by a 172 horsepower 3.0 liter flat 6 cylinder engine with matching 5 speed manual transmission. It has air conditioning (which works and blows cold), power windows, AM/FM stereo/cassette and CD, and front fog lights. The car runs great, shifts smoothly, and the electricals work fine, including the radio and the clock. It also has the original tool roll, spare wheel, manuals and a clear title. This is a great daily driver. I bought this car three years ago and it has spent entirely too much time in my garage. I would not hesitate to take it on the road and I do drive it daily - if the weather is right and my work does not that day require me to cart around a bunch of stuff.
