This is a 2002 Jetta TDi with an automatic transmission. We bought it with 84,056 miles on it in 2006 and drove it until April of this year. It has 147,866 miles on it now and the engine is locked up. I had done regular maintenance on it, but back in April I was driving it when it just lost power and started missing. I had it towed to my house and due to time constraints just got a chance to look at it recently. The timing belt is intact and seems to be OK, but when I tried to crank it it seems as though the engine is stuck. Rather than sink a lot of money into this vehicle I've decided to sell it as a non-running parts car. I have a clear NC title for the vehicle. The body is straight and the interior is about a 6 out of 10. The automatic transmission worked well and all the power accessories worked too. It has a sunroof. The tires are about 60% and the wheels are good stock alloys. There is a small crack in the windshield. This car will have to be towed or hauled since it cannot be driven. I can assist in loading. If you had a good running engine this is a good car to put it into.
