Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1998 Honda CBR 929RR. I am the second owner and have personally never laid this bike over. This is a very powerful bike and should be taken seriously. The overall condition of this bike is very good. The seats are in pristine shape, the tires have less than 1000 miles on them, the brakes were new (both front and back) 2 years ago. This bike is currently 4500 miles into a complete engine and transmission over-haul, including new pistons and rings, new main bearings and seals, new chain, new drive sproket (smaller, for higher top speed), new K&N intake. There are however, as with any bike, a few minor nicks and scratches. The front fairing has a scratch from previous owner letting it fall over in parking lot (I have since added body bumpers). One turn singnal cover is missing (still works) and the mirror windshield is cracked (as seen in photo). I have a new one but will buy the buyer a clear one or give them the mirror one I have. The tires are bridgestone, and the exhaust is Vance&Hines SSR-1. The bike has a very nice tone. I am also including in this auction a very cool Joe Rocket leather jacket and a helmet. The Joe Rocket jacket was hardly ever worn, as it is very warm, but it is a size 52 and is officially liscenced with Honda. The jacket also includes the winter liner. I will leave it up to the buyer if you want the jacket and helmet. If you do please add $450 for jacket and helmet. I will deliver this bike to Illinois residents and some in Missourri. I work so therefore time is not a luxury I have. If you live close enough we can make delivery plans. When the auction is closed the buyer will contact me with there address and we will go from there to talk about delivery. Be warned if you win the bike and I have to deliver outside my comfort zone I will charge $500 for delivery. I am the actual owner therefore I have the title. So it works like this: the winner gets the bike when I have recieved and confirmed payment of winning amount. This bike is also listed locally, so I reserve the right to terminate the auction at any time. If bike does not sell at a price I am comfortable with I will re-list the bike. This bike was my baby for many years, and now that I have a baby on the way, the bike has to go, so happy bidding.
