1996 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Laramie This truck would make a good work truck for someone or daily driver. Selling because the better half got a new vehicle and i'm getting the old one. I've owned truck since it had 186,000 on it. Bought in 2007. Has 200,997 now. The postitive things: Truck is 2 tone burgandy and gray. Looks well from a distance. Truck runs well, power windows and locks work, heater and JVC radio and cd player work, power seat works. All gauges and wiper and washers work. 5.9 liter V8 (360) Leaks or uses very little oil (don't have to add between changes) Manual and window sticker in glove box. Chrome wheel are in good shape for their age. The things of concern of that need attention Has some surface rust under the doors and around the wheel wells and in bed. Some rust through in some spots - see pictures. Needs A/C compressor, horn inoperative and cruise control inoperative. Tailgate is missing and front bumper has some damage and hood springs are misaligned (see gap in pictures) - hood does safely latch, and a small dent in hood. Needs tires. Front tire has a slow leak in the sidewall, temporarily plugged with silicone. Should make it to a tire shop. Transmission will sometimes slip when in reverse and backing up a hill. has done this since 2007 - 186,000 and has not gotten any worse and does not leak transmisstion fluid. The spare may be able to be put on the front right tire to avoid buying new tires immediately. Selling with no reserve. Selling as is and with no warranty implied. This one should make a good work truck for someone with some new tires on it or a good daily driver for fall/winter or add a new A/C compressor (does not have one currently-did not work so was pitched) and make a year round daily driver.
