Up for auction is my 1973 Chevy Impala. White, with cream colored vinyl seats, new caramel brown carpet, and it's a factory A/C car. The motor conked out on me a couple of months back, and after some deep thought, decided to sell the car, rather than rebuild/replace the engine. The transmission was professionally rebuilt in November 2008, and it's been great. The interior is mostly original...dashboard, seats, speedometer & gauge cluster...but I did upgrade a couple of things. The rear speakers were replaced with 2 Kenwood Excelon 6x9s, and there's a fiberglass console up front, with a 7" LCD screen & 2 6.5 coaxials...also from Kenwood. I wanted to get something better than a CD player, but that wouldn't require cutting up the dash, so I went with a Kenwood Carportal...serves as an amp, as well as the head unit, and has slots to plug in however big a flash drive you'd like, as well as an iPhone/iPod charger & Bluetooth. The tires are Hankook Radials, with low miles, and the rims are American Racing wire baskets that came w/ the car when I bought it. There's a dent in the driver's side rear quarter panel, and IMO, both rear quarters should be replaced. Quarter panel skins for this model will run about 175.00 apiece, so it's not too bad. In the pics, you'll see where I started on the body work, but after the motor blew, I had to move on. All in all, great car in need of a good home.
