1965 Riviera With a Set of Running Gear included for a Grand Sport. (The last La Salle’s that were ever made See: ISBN 0-87938 -044-6 page 106, Library of Congress #77-25850) This car is now up for Auction for the first time I have owned this car for more than 32 years now and has been setting since, I bought it new in 1965 for my wife And I’m the original Red on Black one owner, It has California updated Tags good till the year 2011 and comes with clear CA. Pink Slip: Vehicle ID#494475H934605 Where as “parts” that come with this Auction are all “Original Grand Sport running Gear” Very rare to even find today The winning bidder will get all the items that are included which are a 425C.I. 360H.P. Block ready for rebuilding and Rated at 360 SAE gross hp as is a Super Wildcat engine with that LX block code and Rack and Pinion steering unit as well as a Turbo 400 Transmission and a extra Std trans as well that’s in the car now with a 401 motor. Also theirs a 3:42.1 or its a 3.58.1 cant remember which along with Rear end pumpkin and a set of Grand Sport Springs and Sway bars that match I think but I’m not sure of, and two sets of axels will go also and some Engine Cams no 2x4 manifold or Carburetors but have the original 2x4 Air cleaners and have a STD Manifold. When I bought the car new I originally wanted to restore it to its "Factory Original" after the wife did the motor in by never adding water. But I really wanted that other Beastly 425 Motor with all that best drive train stuff that had been offered for this car from the factory, So along the way I started to buy all kinds of parts for 65’ Rev’s, with as many Grand Sport N.O.S. parts as I could find Beg or Steel, and then keep for my own use, So over the years I’ve collected a lot of 65’ Riviera parts that I have now stored somewhere in that Mess you see in my Garage! And I have sold many and traded a lot to other Riviera owners over the years. And this car on the Blocks now has Air, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power ant, wheel custom gray interior head liner new, chrome wheels (5), and with original Goodyear 3 ring 8:45X15 w/w tires will go with it as well, Oil Gage installed along with Temp Gage I installed in the Clock position, Please Note: I am now parting with this car with all the Grand Sport Parts I collected for someone to do a Project Change over of which I was going to due someday myself.
