Here we have a 1952 half ton Chevrolet pickup, serial number is 5KPJ15519. This truck was bought new by the current owners Grandfather and has been handed down through three generations of family. I've been acquainted with this family for over 10 years, and listing this for them. I have personally driven this truck, and can tell you it is a VERY restorable pickup. It is solid, runs well, and super shape for it's age. Odometer reads 50 thousand. I have been told that although the speedometer works, the odometer quit a few years ago. Family says 52 to 53 thousand miles is what is on the vehicle. It is mostly original, except for the addition of blinker control added on the column and aftermarket taillights. A chrome dress-up kit has been put on the engine, but the engine is original and never has been rebuilt. I beleive it a 235ci 85 horsepower model. It has the four speed "Granny" transmission. An oak floor was installed in the bed sometime in the 90's and some parts of the bed were sanded and painted as a project for a Vo-Tech school. Drivers side door was replaced during that time, but original was repaired and comes with the truck. The headliner is out of the truck and a replacement one is in the bed, but appears to have gotten wet. The pictures show more than words can tell.
