This has been a very good car. It has a great ride and handling. Just a fun car to drive. Lots of pep and a nice stereo system. Bucket seats are very comfortable even for a big guy, IMHO. 2.2 4cyl engine (see below) Transmission is good. Glass all good. AM/FM/CD player Body good to fair due to cracks in the plastic bumpers and a tad rust starting to bubble the paint at rear wheel wells. There looks to be a small area of bondo just below the drivers door handle that has cracked and a 2" by 1/2' chunk is now missing... this was from the first owner and I don't understand it. There are areas that have had a shot of touch up paint but with a red car its all good. The plastic clips holding the plastic rockers on now have a couple sheet metal screws to keep them in place. Interior very very good for its age...no cracks in plastic or dash area. Cloth seats have no tears or serious wear...just a stain from a spilled drink. We had fun with the hood...translation for the buyer...or you can ask someone who reads kanji However... last week the lower radiator hose developed a hole, it lost fluid and overheated the engine...blown head gasket. Now it needs a head gasket job or more. You really need to take the top off to determine the real issues big or small and unless you do your own work that can get pricey. If I had more free time and didn't already have a car in pieces in the garage... I might open it up and see if a $20 gasket would fix it...or consider dropping a rebuilt engine in it plus a couple front tires and GO GO GO! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8i_C4WgaT4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIW40Qgjt_M It does not smoke or send steam out the tail pipe. The engine actually runs normal and sounds normal but if you take it over 50 it overheats. I tried a block sealer without much luck. It's a nice car if you got the time or $ to fix or replace the engine. Sold as is and w/o warranty. Priced accordingly...No reserve. It is also in need of front tires. Headlights got that yellowing thing going on. It has some cracks and chips and dings on the bumpers and doors , see pics. Some rust bubbling the paint in small areas around the rear wheel wells. It has always passed inspection without major issues. I will add info as I think of it or questions are asked...
