I bought her almost a year ago. I spent all my "home time" working on rebuilding the fuel system, it has two fuel tanks, two pumps, four carburators, and fifty feet of vacuum hose. Considering that i'm OTR driver (over the road) , and i can't trust anyone else to do diligent work, progress is very slow. I DON'T want to sell her, but i WANT a house more. PLZ HELP!!!!We are hard working, young family, that is trying to DO THE RIGHT THING, thx for looking On Jul-28-10 at 14:43:20 PDT, seller added the following information: ok... i got a few good questions, so... here it is..ENGINE: runs strong, smooth, NO knockingTRANY: i drove her around the block, engages strong forward/reverseTIRES: have alot of thread 80%, held air since i bought car on ChristmasBRAKES: work great, but i haven't looked if it's power or not, parking brake are looseGLASS: no cracks, no noticeable chipsA/C: DON'T work, fan blows, it was my next projectBELTS: crackedHOSES: no leaks, but I recommend to replace emFUEL TANKS: were "repaired" before but, one had a slow leak, other bad leak, (new tank $360 online 420@ advance auto) PS...... I MADE SURE ENGINE WAS GOOD BEFORE I SPENT MONEY ON TANKS, for the moment i was running it out of a 5 gal gas can, BOTTOM LINE...... SPEND ANOTHER 1500 OR LESS ON PARTS AND GET THESE ISSUES BUTTONED UP, U'LL HAVE A $12,000.00 CLASSY RIDE!!!!, LIKE I SAID, "I DON'T WANT TO SELL HER", SO DON'T COME TRYING TO KNOCK IT.... GET EXCITED, THIS IS A GREAT, GREAT CAR!!!!!!
