Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 I have for sale a 1989 Montero. I have used this vehicle on the farm and it has been a great truck. The truck now needs a new engine. Everything in this truck works including the air and radio everything. The front seal of the engine let go and was leaking oil at the rate of a quart a day. I was using it the other day and now the engine may be seize due to low oil. The engine was running great just leaked a lot of oil. I was considering installing a new engine in the truck but instead bought a new Toyota FJ for the farm. This a great off road truck it will go anywhere. A lot of farmers go out and buy ATV or utility vehicle for the farm this truck was much better. Why spend 8-12 K for a utility truck when you can have something like this. I do not want to junk this truck because all it needs is a new engine. This truck is somewhat rare, and the body has no rust. The truck came from Arizona and I bought it in Florida. I had the truck shipped to Vermont and I store it in the barn during the winter. I have owned it since 2003. At present the engine is not running and will have to be towed away. You can even get a diesel engine for these trucks from JDM. All this truck needs is a new engine. This truck is rare because of the off road package which was the limit slip differential and the spring mounted drivers seat. The truck has an engine oil cooler, transmission cooler, air intake in the fender, waterproof ignition, and under carriage skids plates. All these item were factory standard. I do have the factory service manual which will go with the truck. I don't want to see this truck go to the junk yard. I do not have the time and the extra cash to afford a new engine at this time.
