Another find here at THE AUTO HOUSE-- I sell unique or rare items and represent what I know- I will return emails or phone calls in a timely fashion- Mike 925-634-2227- I will not end an auction early- see my recent items sold and you will see that I play no games- 1974 Scout II- Automatic, 4x4- clean title, overall decent unit- miles are unknown- Engine seems strong- fires up fine- there are some wires hanging from the dash where the a/c control unit goes-- it is in the back of the unit disconnected- I believe there is a wire missing from the solenoid to the starter because you have to start the unit from the starter to the battery- I am sure it is an easy fix- the solenoid clicks from the body- Transmission shifts fine- 4x4 engages and locks into gear- the hubs lock with ease- All Dana parts underneath- rear end, transmission, transfer case- exhaust has two glass packs or "cherry bombs"- The master cylinder or seals need attention because the brakes fade- I drove it around the block a couple of times but would not drive this a long distance unless this was repaired- I have pictured the interior and exterior- door panels are fine, seats are all there but are ripped- dash is cracked in some spots, a couple gauges don't work- probably the wiring again-Exterior is pretty straight overall with a few dings here and there- All the doors, glass, windows are good- they open and close as they should-windshield glass has one pit at the bottom but no cracks- Top is in good shape- back glass and side glass fine! Of course it is removeable- surface rust on top- rack is fine Not much rust corrosion- some surface rust- I pictured the jams, etc. underneath is fine- CA sales tax will apply if purchased by a CA resident and a dmv transfer fee- tags are good until 2011- The unit is sold as is where is with no implied warranty of anykind!! I believe the pictures show this-- Rt side rear at the tail light-see the picture- Rt Front fender has a couple-at the marker light and where the bumper meets the body-ding Front hood in center front palm size ding- grill dented up I believe you can see all of this in the pictures? It is a 1974-- It can be restored!! It can be left alone for a rock crawler!!
