Description Up for auction is a Perfect car for a Fixer-Upper. Imported Car made in Germany. Cosmetically near perfect, but need a little touch of love. The car has rarely been driven last about one year. Therefore the brake system is a little rough, the battery is not very good. Air conditioner does not work. All other parts are good to excellent conditions. Please, serious bidders only. By bidding and wining this auction, you agree to pay at least the deposit amount set below. Drivability: The car has been seating most of the time last one year, so the car has a little rough driving condition as described below. The engines starts quick and runs quite. The transmission shifts swift and smooth. The air conditioner has low pressure and currently not working. No further testing is done, but mechanical condition looks good. The sun roof is jammed and not opening, but it looks good mechanically and there is no leak. It seems easy fix. The check engine light is currently dark, but was report lit for a brief period of times. This is well known symptom of Mercedes-Benz which does not require an attention. The tires are almost done and needs to be replaced soon. The brakes has pulsation now and seem to become better with a few tens of miles driving. However, we could not drive the car that long because the registration was expired. In worst case, the new brake rotors and pads will be needed. The battery become weak because of long standing. Curently, it works OK after recharging and idling for about 10 minutes. However, it may need to be replaced soon. All Other conditions are in good to excellent conditions. We do not see any problem to drive home with this car. We believe the brake system should become stabilized after a few hours of driving. The pictures below were taken from the real vehicle selling. Because of uneven light exposures, the pictures look distorted in some places. However, the real vehicle has no noticable dents and is in beautiful shape! The winner has to pay refundable $250 deposit through paypal within 48 hours from the end of the auction. (We will refund the deposit only if the buyer comes to test the vehicle, finds a wrong description, and decides not to complete transaction). Buyer is responsible for picking-up. We will schedule test-driving and/or picking-up after the initial deposit is cleared. The remaining balance should be paid by cash or any other cash equivalent within 7 days. The vehicle should be removed within 7 days after the full payment. If the buyer insist to pay some part of payment with a check, we will release the vehicle if at least 50% of total price is paid by cash and we will hold the title until the check is cleared. If you are coming though the air, the pick-up location is very near to Chicago O’Hare International Air Port. We will provide a free ride from the air port for picking-up and driving home. I mistakenly implies that this car needs a lot attention by saying that this car is for a Fixer-Upper. Actually, as you provably noticed already, this car only has maintenance issues, which you will have to take care any way to run a car in good condition. We did not attemp to doing such maintenance because you think the buyers can do such a job less expensively than we could. Please, read the description carefully.
