Vehicle Detail
2001 K2500 (3/4 ton) Suburban. Most of its life was spent in sunny California. Here are the specs: 6.0L Gas engine Automatic Transmission Automatic Electronic Transfer Case 4 Wheel Drive LT package Heated Leather Captains Chairs in Front Leather Rear Seat Leather 3rd Seat CD player Heated Side Mirrors w/Courtesy Lights Onstar Center Console Power Windows and Door Locks Cruise Control Aluminum Rims Running boards K and N FIPK air snorkle I purchased this truck in December of 09 and have owned/driven it since that time. It performed fabulously through one of the worst winters in Nebraska of the past 40 years. It was originally purchased for a customer who was looking for this exact color combo (hard enough finding a nice one of these with the 6.0 in it). They purchased something else. So my wife and I drove it for the balance of the time. Overall, it is a great truck. It was misrepresented here on Ebay when I purchased it. By the time it was transported, it was too late for me to get anywhere with the seller, who was about as sneaky as they come. I don't work that way. That is why I drove it for about 5000 miles before listing it on here. I like my customers to know what they are getting. The left side of the truck has been repainted. History reports so no major damage, so I think it was a minor scrape that caused the driver's door and rear quarter panel to be repainted. Fine repair, but you can see some overspray in the door jambs. The left side rear door has a small dent and a scrape in it, as can be seen in that photo. Truck has rock chips and some small dings that I would consider average for a truck of this age and mileage. The interior is a victim of the California sun. Leather was dry and has "wrinkled" in places. I did my best with the photos to show the wear. The dealer I purchased it from tried to hide the wear by painting/dyeing the passenger side front seat, and did a terrible job. I have worked hard to remove that, but every now and then my wife gets up and has a small fleck or two on her. Not a huge deal, but I am disclosing it. Overall, pretty average for a truck of this age in California. Also, small plastic lever that actuates the flip up portion of the middle seat is missing. I just pull on the cable. Truck had no spare tire when I purchased it. Mechanically sound truck. I replaced both front wheel hub assemblies. I also installed new intake gaskets, which is pretty commonly needed on a 6.0L with this miles. New water pump as well. I also replaced fuel injectors on numbers 2 and 6, but the rest were alright. Has a slight oil drip at the rear of the engine. Minor, so I have done little with it. Truck uses no oil that I can tell. I have put about $1500 in recent repairs for things that are routine for these trucks. Starts easy, runs good, has cold air and the options work. I have tried to explain most of the items that I noticed. It is a sharp truck, dependable, and I would drive it anywhere. If you have specific questions, just ask. I am a Nebraska Licensed Auto dealer and am insured and bonded with the State of Nebraska. You will receive all paperwork associated with a purchase, including 30 day temporary markings. You pay ONLY the price you purchase it for on ebay, no hidden fees or costs. Taxes are to be paid by the buyer at time of registration, no sales tax is collected by my dealership. I am happy to help with your transport company with 48 hours notice. If they don't tell me when they will be here, I won't just wait for them so show up in the middle of the night. Buyer will receive a clean and clear Nebraska title with the purchase. I have included a photo of the California title so you can see I'm not misrepresenting that claim. It will be filed with our local DMV and have a new Nebraska Title.
