1986 Suzuki GSX-R

This is an incredible bike for the year. 86 GSXR 750, 25 years old and a real collectors item. I purchased this bike this year and rode it only a handful of times. Ive owned many of these bikes from 86-89 and this is a favorite. It rides like new and sounds great. Has the classic Vance and Hines header and exhaust, Smoke screen and the rest is all stock. Has the original grips. Brakes, tires, chain, sprockets all perfect. Now for the finer details. The paint is excellent with only a few small tiny scratches. There is a small 2 inch crack under the left mirror. Hardly noticeable. A small 1 inch scratch on the Tank from a belt buckle I think. Other than the the bike is Beautiful. When I picked it up I met the original owner and second owner who were friends. The original owner bought it new and kept it in pristine condition for 15 years. The second owner had a bike shop and had it on the showroom floor and busted it out for special occasions. That's where the crack under the mirror developed. A small child reached up and pulled on the mirror when it was in the shop The bike is partially wired as if to race. The original owner had planned on bringing it to Louden to run on the track but never did. I was thinking of removing the wires but it is such a nice job. Looks cool too and give the bike some character. It has 20K unmolested miles on the tach. No more no less. If you come see the bike you would swear it only has 5K or less. Reason for selling is we just installed a new swimming pool. To many toys and not enough time. I would like to see it go to a good home simply because it has survived this long.
