Vehicle Detail

Original, all-stock 1991 Honda CRX Si with 63K original miles and a clean title Hard-to-find clean example of a late second generation CRX! NO RESERVE! Recent maintenance: All drive belts, timing belt, cam seal, and water pump replaced less than 1K ago by the local Honda dealer (Wilsonville Honda)New OEM muffler with OEM exhaust tipsNew rear hatch supportsNew tie-rods and 4-wheel alignmentNew rear brake pads Interior Virtually flawless. The seats, including the driver’s side bolster, look like brand new. All interior electronics, including the stock stereo, work perfectly. Mechanical The car drives great and just passed a smog test. I’ve recently driven it on several longer, out-of-town trips. Not only did the car perform flawlessly, I averaged 37 miles per gallon and had fun doing it! The sunroof is fully operable, however, please note that the wind deflector doesn’t pop all the way up on one side. The car has air conditioning. It blows cold for the first 5 minutes then the air becomes gradually less cool. It may be low on Freon but I’m not certain. The tires were replaced at 48K miles and the stock alloy rims are very clean. On 6/28/2010, Wilsonville Honda completed an inspection of the vehicle as part of the drive belt/water pump service described above. They provided three service notes:Rear Trailing Arm Bushings TornRear Brakes 2MMOil Leak Diag From Possible Trans Per the Honda service technician, the rear brake pads were the only pressing issue, which is why I replaced them the next day. As regards to the oil leak, he clarified that the engine has, and appears to have had, a VERY MINOR oil leak / drip for a long time. The drip is so minor that it has not been necessary to top off the oil between changes. Lastly, please note that I have most service records for the car. Exterior The black flint metallic paint is shinny and glossy. Given the age of the car, I’m almost certain that it had to have been repainted at some point during its life. The car does have its share of minor door dings and a fair number of minor scratches / scuffs here and there. As I tried to reflect in the photos, the car was unfortunately keyed on the driver side door and the rear quarter panel on the passenger side. It’s been touched up as well as possible but it’s definitely noticeable at certain angles and in certain lighting conditions. The rear center light below the “CRX” symbol has a hairline crack. There is no evidence of body / structural rust anywhere on the car. Since the vast majority of the car's life was spent in Florida, this is to be expected.
