Relisting for $1.00. Who wants it? I bought this car from a buddy of mine who had planned to restore it (straight body, no rust), but lost interest. The car only has 137K miles on it. (Note - the odometer that comes with the car is not the one originally on the car.) There were cooling issues with this car, so we pulled the head and had it tested. The head passed a pressure test and was professionally prepared for re-installation... Fast forward several years, and neither of us have the time to put the car back together. It has been sitting at my mechanic's shop for a long time, and he wants it gone. So, my loss is your gain. Whatever she sells for is what she will go for. The car comes with: engine, transmission, turbo, injection pump, injectors, instrument cluster.... pretty much complete. There is no radio or antenna. The top of the engine looks good, no scoring, et al. The inside is ROUGH, but I don't think there are any major tears in the vinyl. I think all the glass is good too. The body is way clean underneath (absolutely no rust) and none of the seals have started leaking. The paint is fading fast, so if you plan to restore the car, she will need a good buffing. The tires are rotten and she will need a flatbed tow (or some travel tires added for the trip home). I wouldn't use the fuel in the tank either (it needs to be drained), and I think the intank pump was removed. She drove fine before we took her apart, so the transmission, injection system, etc, should be fine. The IP looks like it has been rebuilt recently too. Tell you what; buy the head (which is very difficult to find for these cars) and get the rest of the car for free! How is that for a bargain? Ask your questions and no warranty.
