Up for auction is a nice solid 1990 Saab 900 Turbo. The auto transmission is inop and needs to be replaced. I have a complete 1991 900s with a 5 spd. manual. I was planning to do a transmission conversion to make the car more fun to drive. It is a fairly straight forward swap and all the parts are interchangeable between the two cars. I can provide a link to the procedure. The convertible has a great body. Has only been off the road for 1 month. No rust anywhere - a dent in the pax fender and slightly faded paint are the only flaws. The interior is good with the exception of the drivers seat which is very worn. The top is nearly new and works electrically. The rear window portion ( separate from the top itself) was re used and has a few small tears under the window. All windows work. The engine runs strong and does not smoke. Could use some vacuum lines replaced. Headlight adjusters are shot but the parts cars has good ones. New tires and exhaust. 1991 900S Parts car has 107K and extensive body rust. The interior is grey leather and overall very good condition. Seats are excellent. 2.1 liter non turbo engine ran good when parked 4 years ago. Has not been started since. Transmission in great shape. Sold with bill of sale only as it is not roadworthy due to rust issues.
