1977 Volkswagen VW Bus Camper, Westfalia, Automatic, 2.0 Fuel Injected. I've owned this since 1999 and now it's time to go to someone who can get more use from it. This is a good camper, i've done lots of mechanical work on it to keep it running; but the body and camper equipment all need some attention. This is a great camper / bus and has the pop top that has a fold down bed and many other nice features. Rebuilt engine 2003 - vee village [paperwork on link below] Rebuilt transmission from a 78 bus installed in 2008 - [no paperwork on this, I purchased a rebuilt one from an employee of vee village] Front axle, brakes and steering replaced in 2000 - vee village [paperwork below] Mechanically it's in good shape. Currently runs good, always takes a time or two to start when it's been sitting for awhile. Brakes are still good but they have cheap brazilian pads in the front and squeek at low speeds (work fine, but never been able to stop that squeek!). Body needs work, I keep a bra on the front as it's slightly pushed in from a Previous owner who had a spare tire mounted on the front and did some damage by bumping into something (look at the detail in the pictures). Has all camper equipment, but it all needs some work, Stove [works but propane tank has leak from valve I keep it empty], Sink [not sure if the pump works], Refrigerator [unknown if this works], two tables (front and rear), Stool, childs cot, all-curtains. Pop-top canvas is still decent, but is showing it's age with a few rips. Details are in the pictures. I have many parts to go with bus, new seals for pop-top, hitch, brand new extra muffler, original transmission [still needs a rebuild; but always good to have the original !], a ba6 gas heater [never got around to installing it] and whatever other parts i have !
