Vehicle Detail

This is a 1965 (with some 1964 1/2 features) Ford MUSTANG coupe – V8 – 3-Speed – Restored! A true restored Arizona car! Just in time for SUMMER FUN and CRUISING the SUMMER CAR SHOWS!!! 1965 Ford Mustang with a 289 V8 from the factory (engine size is listed on the original car's title & purchase order) as well as on the engine's original metal plate and stamped on the intake manifold. This Mustang has several of the 1964 1/2 Mustang features including the floor air "A" knob, clip handles on windows and doors, rectangular speedometer, 3 lever heater controls and a letter "D" on the intake manifold. This car was sold in August 1964 according to the engine identification plate and the door identification plate. Mustang's Original Equipment included: 289 Cu. In. V/8 engine Back up (reverse) lights Push-button radio Padded visors Seat Belts Heater & Defroster 3-speed transmission bucket seats Mustang Owner History: (#1) This mustang was originally bought new in Ohio and the first owner then brought the car to Arizona. The original sales receipts (from "The Portsmouth Motors Co." in Ohio on August 29, 1964 - with the Date: 13H on the doorpost) and owner information are included in this sale. The original owner had the car completely restored in 1982 by Rustic Restorations in Phoenix, Arizona. (#2) The second Arizona owner's original receipts from Galpin Ford in Prescott, Arizona, will also be included. (3) The third Arizona owner had a new 16 gallon gas tank installed and the receipt for that is also included. (#4) I am the fourth Arizona owner of this car and I have done many restorations and my receipts will also be included. If you would like a breakdown of what work I have had done I will send it in an email. It has been kept in a garage by all owners. Only 4 owners in 45 years! That's not bad! Mustang Information: The car runs GREAT and the front end is TIGHT. The Mustang radio and cassette tape player (see photo) both work great. The Mustang has a very nice dual exhaust system and the underside is the original metal (see my photos). There is no rust anywhere. This is a rust-free car from Arizona! Spare tire included! *** One small flaw on the body: there is an approximately 1" scratch on the front bumper (it is just where the chrome paint that has peeled in that one spot so no big deal). This Mustang coupe is worth a lot more than my reserve price. However, I need to sell it so it is PRICED TO SELL and READY TO DRIVE! Terms: Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end. I will require a $500.00 PayPal deposit (1/2 refundable) at that time. We can then work out the details of the final sale (balance and title) and car delivery. Car will not leave my possession until those details are finalized and the balance has cleared. If the buyer wishes to send the total price amount through PayPal that is fine - HOWEVER, an additional fee will be charged that reflects the final PayPal fee for that amount. Otherwise, we will work out the details by phone - but NO personal checks will be accepted. Disclosures: The Mustang has been described as accurately as I possibly can. Shipping: The car's shipping is the buyer's sole responsibility. However, I will help the shipping service truck driver (or you, the buyer) however necessary. Buyer can call me (I will provide my phone # to high bidder) and we can work out whatever details are needed to arrange vehicle delivery. "CYA" Information: This car is SOLD AS IS with NO warranty. I am an individual seller and once this car leaves my possession I cannot assume responsibility for it. Please email me with any questions prior to bidding. Something happened as I was loading the photos and eBay did not keep my "enlarge the photos" option. I can send larger-sized, individual photos if anyone wants to see them. Thanks for looking . . .
