Vehicle Detail
For Sale is a 1976 Chevrolet Corvette, Bright Yellow, with Saddle Brown interior. This is a daily driver, it runs great, it is not one to sit in a garage for months on end and just rot away. This car has a 350 cubic inch V-8, with a 4-Speed Transmisson, electric windows, power electric antenna, power brakes, power steering, new pioneer am-fm, CD stereo. During the past 12 to 18 months a new front end has been put under the car to include bearings, bushings, tie rods and springs. Four new Goodyear Eagle tires, four new brake calipers to include all new brake pads, a new exhaust system, new radiator, new water pump, new carburator, rebuilt alternator, new battery. August 2009 at Corvettes at Carlisle, the seats were re-done with new leather, new floor carpet was put in at that time too. Motor was rebuilt in June 2003, mechanically the car has had some major work done to it to make it a daily driver. The paint is the original paint on the car. With this car, a canvas top (Black) will come with it when sold, this top can be used on the road in case it rains and the T-Tops are off the car during your trip. Great car and fun to drive. This corvette is being sold as-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. I'm the thrid owner of this corvette, bought the car in May 2001, it has a clear Pennsylvania title. Payment will be by Paypal or cashier's check only. On Jul-18-10 at 07:20:28 PDT, seller added the following information:The corvette dealers in which four have been out to look at the car and two have called about it want some clarification. So, the paint is the original paint, it's not perfect, it does have the normal wear and tear, stone chips and those people who bang your doors no matter where you park in the parking lots. This car is a driver not a show boat, you won't be able to take it to the Grand Nationals to win a Grand Master certificate as it is currently. Mechanically, the car is in really good condition. The motor rebuild consisted of re-bearing, re-valve, re-ring, and re-seal. One dealer even commented about the new carpeting, if you don't like the carpeting, then please don't bid on the car. The car has factory A/C, but not hooked up, the A/C compressor and mounting brackets will go with the car when sold.On Jul-18-10 at 07:37:50 PDT, seller added the following information:The correct VIN is 1Z37L6S444592, the one above has a typo in it, as it is missing a number 4 after the S.On Jul-21-10 at 09:18:38 PDT, seller added the following information:This corvette is not rusted up, it does not have rust holes in the frame. Frame is in pretty good condition.
